Here's to a generous winter. I actually do like the snowfall in the northeast. It accentuates the rebirth of spring that much more in my opinion.

Isn't that the way to get through the winter months, eh? Just planning it is so much fun. I so enjoy everyone who posts pics of their garden - I live vicariously!

I am not able to garden so much anymore - but I do have an Aerogarden with a grow light and can have a touch of green indoors Minnesota in December. Nothing like a real garden, of course, but it's great, especially when it's white outside ;-)

I still get all the seed catalogs and dream, lol.

4. Is there a cheap place to buy short-grass prairie seeds?

I have in mind to rework the grassy lawn near the "brush line" of our property.

6. Hahaha I read the post and said out loud...

"Someone got THEIR Seed Saver Catalog." My husband stopped stirring the gravy and ran into the living room to return with OUR Seed Saver catalog.

Just made a great seed exchange with a fellow DUer. What fun to open a beautiful card lovingly filled with little packets of saved seeds. Made my week!
