| Our Encore Azaleas are blooming |
|
We have them on the northside and the southside of our home in South Mississippi. The ones on the north get more shade and are growing bigger and blooming brighter then the one's on the south side of the house. They bloom three times a year. Its nice to look out the front door in the morning and see beautiful blooming Azaleas along the sidewalk in the middle of summer.

| 1. I guess its a cool concept but it would sort of unnerve me... |

....Azaleas and lilacs both always mean "spring" to me. Seeing them blooming in August would give me a jolt. Although I understand there are now summer-blooming lilacs on the market, too.
Still, azaleas are so pretty it's pleasant to think you could enjoy them again.

pink Azaleas way in our back yard clustered around two trees. they are incredibly beautiful in the spring. And a drive down highway 43 in South Mississippi in the spring is drop dead gorgeous. Everyone has azaleas along the highway and most are well maintained and very large. A beautiful sight to behold. We have ours on the walkway leading up to our front door and they are very welcoming even when they are not blooming. My wife cringes everytime I get out the pruners.
