Time to start planning the garden!

The seed catalogs are coming daily. I have my 2008 garden almanac and diary. I have been reading these books:

Anyone else interested in or living the permaculture lifestyle?

1. We've made a couple of

attempts at an organic garden the past few years with traditional methods but the weather, as you know, wasn't very cooperative. Gonna give it a shot this year with the square foot gardening method and I'm very excited about it.

We definitely would love to have a year-round garden but can't afford to build a greenhouse quite yet. May be trying to build a few small coldframes, tho.

Last year we ordered our seeds from Seeds of Change and probably will again.
