| I've never grown a veg garden before -- is edamame hard to grow? |
|
It's become one of our favorite snacks and I was thinking maybe I should try to grow some to try to save some $$. Anyone with experience or advice on the subject?

| 2. thanks :) One more question |

like I said, I'm really a novice here. When they say grows like bush beans, does that mean that they're not climbers (like, I'm assuming a pole bean would be)? I shouldn't need to stake them or use a trellis or anything? I'm sorry if these questions seem really stupid. Would you have any suggestions for a good reference (online or a book) for an EXTREMELY novice gardener?

Yes, they do grow on bushes and usually don't need staking. Here are some good online resources: http://www.gardenweb.com/http://www.plantideas.com/
