Is it too late to grow veggies now? I'm in zone 8 (SC lowcountry), and wasn't able to get a garden in earlier. I'm planning on raised bed, sq ft lasagna garden beds. Anybody got any suggestions on late crops for this area? Am planning on fruits and veggies next year, for sure, but would love to get something growing before then. Thanks!

| 1. Why don't you start planning and planting a fall garden? |

There are lots of things to plant. The timing will depend on the date of your first frost and your area's climate. If you have The Square Foot Gardening book, there are charts in the back that indicate when to plant what.

I do have that book. Frost here is pretty late, and winter lasts about 15mins (lol)!
