Homeopathic crap now mixed in with scientific remedies at drugstore.

I can't help noticing that more and more, homeopathic stuff is becoming added to drug store shelves where verified therapies are displayed. I not only saw numerous varieties of that Airborne stuff (invented by a teacher! not a pharmacist) mixed in with the cold relief products at Rite Aid, but there was a store-brand knock-off availale. There were others too, but that is what I remember.

I find that quite reprehensible for a drug-store to be passing off this crap as if it was actually a remedy for anything.

And they sell Turtlensue's beloved Kinoki footpads in the "As Seen on TV" section of the store.


It's crap, and I don't know how they can justify it. You'd hope that the pharmacy, at least, would make at least a token effort in support of science.

Did you know when I was wandering around the Mall of America a few weeks ago there was a whole STORE that was "As Seen on TV"?! I could not bring myself to go in there..Even with a lot of time to kill. I bet the Kinoki footpads were sold there among other crap...

Granted, it's probably a pure business decision, plus when the homeo stuff fails, they'll be back for the real medicine so you get to make two sales.
