Evil Swiss Geniuses Bent on Activating Doomsday Machine

The Large Hadron Collider is back in the news (the Latest Breaking News, in fact). The sky-is-falling ignorance and fear of science in general is astounding. And you'd think after perusing the health scare forums I wouldn't get astounded here anymore...

I love the excuses to keep up the chicken little behavior...When it was originally fired up the LHC didn't have enough time to destroy the world..Even in the science forum the woos were thick on this..:eyes:
