Mother Claims Hotel Pool Got Her Daughter Pregnant

A mother is suing a hotel claiming her teenage daughter fell pregnant simply from using a hotel swimming pool.
Magdalena Kwiatkowska says the 13-year-old conceived after coming into contact with 'stray sperm' in the water of an Egyptian resort.

She is demanding compensation.

'The mother is adamant that her daughter didn't meet any boys while she was there,' a travel industry source said.

'She is determined to go ahead with the case.'

The Polish tourist board has confirmed they have received a complaint from Mrs Kwiatkowska.

I've heard of people claiming they got STDs from toilet seats; but this one is particularly creative.

Knowing the Daily Mail, I'm sure they'll be delighted to take up the case: 'Evil Foreign Muslim Pool gets Innocent Underage Girl Pregnant!'

But it was just too funny...

I originally saw it on jezebel.com, then tracked it back thru several other links to the DM website. And immediately thought, "Oh crap. Now that's a credible source."

This whole kerfuffle could be lots of fun, since Egyptian government officialdom tends to go ballistic at even the slightest perceived "insult" from foreigners. Or natives, for that matter. Egyptian citizens can be jailed for insulting government employees, Islam, or the military. And probably the local falafel and hummus.
