Next year, someone will hunt for the ghost of the ghost hunter, get drunk and go parapet leaping again. SPLAT!
Then, the NEXT year someone will hunt for...
These are malevolent ghosts. Stay away.

...or was she pushed by a malevolent spirit? Hmm...? Answer me that, Mr. Skeptic! ;-)

| 7. Thanks for the sneaky Richard Thompson reference! |

:hi:
I'm inclined to go along with Moggie. This was more stupidity than supernatural.

Jumping from roof to roof, in the dark, under the influence of alcohol... yeah, that's a really smart move. Perhaps this was more thrill-seeking than ghost-hunting. It would be interesting to know whether either of these people had a history of participating in dangerous sports.

| 5. Killed by spirits, perhaps? |
|
Ordinarily I shy away from making light of someone's accidental death, but if the story is true as told, then it's pretty hard to see this as anything but an act of monumental stupidity.

| 6. Well, you wouldn't expect ghost-hunters to be SENSIBLE |
|
But there's stupid, and there's stupid. I remember being this kind of stupid in my college years: I made more than one nocturnal rooftop expedition (ghosts weren't involved, but alcohol was). When you're a college-age guy, you think you're invulnerable. Perhaps it's sexist of me to be surprised that a woman in her late twenties would display this kind of stupidity.
