OMG, it cured someone? Whats wrong with those docs?!

So I'm out here in Scottsdale, Arizona for my yearly checkup with Mayo clinic (my doc moved here after last years trip) and we were talking about the meds I'm on for my disease (Pegusys-Pegalated alpha interferon). And how long I might have to be on it. It seems this is a med that goes to the source and slows the progression of the disease (OMG- Western docs going after a root cause? I thought they only treated the symptoms? :sarcasm:--just in case) It also seems that people with a type of leukemia related to what I have have actually had all signs of the disease disappear after a few years of treatment. He was almost afraid to say it but it he mentioned it looked like they had been "cured"! Wowsers. Those researchers screwed up!! Now big pharma isn't gonna get their money!11!!!!!111!

I'm convinced now for sure that this is the right treatment for me..Oh and all my blood counts all in normal range..First time in awhile...Mayo doctors do deserve every bit of their reputation.
