| 1. And they'll do it in ironic fashion... |

...with their Windows-based PCs.
Just like people going off on NSAT&T from their iPhones.

I hope there's somebody IRL who can get him some help. He's been hit-and-run posting some weird crap in both R&T and the 9/11 forums.

| 8. Ummm I've worked with the Gates foundation |
|
They work EXTENSIVELY with NIH among other people. But I forget, Bill Gates is rich so he can't POSSIBLY give a shit about charities. You do know that Gates has spent more money on AIDS, Malaria and TB research than ANYONE ELSE IN THE FRIGGEN WORLD? I'm so tired of this Gates is rich so he's evil jerk off ness. That foundation is doing a HELL OF A LOT more for the sick in Africa and other third world countries than most GOVERNMENTS do. If you don't know that Gates actually does care about eradicating disease, you aren't paying any attention. Or your bigotry is blinding you.

Building an entire off site building/campus of NIH in Rockville Maryland just for Malaria research. Building a twin complex in West Africa (Mali) to run clinical trials on experimental malaria vaccines. Getting companies like Sanofi-Pasteur to donate or provide at low cost anti-malarial medications to West African countries where people routinely catch malaria multiple times. Buying mosquito netting and other anti-mosquito programs for West African countries. Paying for world experts at NIH to collaborate with Pharmaceutical companies like Merck (that have the large scale production facilities NIH does not) to help produce experimental malarial treatments. Oh and most important to me, helping to employ me to work with some of the most scientifically brilliant and compassionate people I've ever met, and teaching me 90% of my knowledge of vaccines. So, those of you who want to bash Bill Gates...Don't do it or expect me to tolerate it. He's much more important to eradication of infectious diseases than I or any individual scientist could ever be (The amount of money donated to fight JUST malaria alone is astonishing, and I didn't even have any access to the AIDS/TB projects in Africa they also sponsor)
