Research Question: "Octopus's Garden" as a film term.

I swear I read this somewhere, but I can't remember where (and yes, I've been googling it) but has anyone heard of the phrase "Octopus's Garden" used to describe a scene in a movie that's put there solely as a sort of wink and a nod to an "in group?"
