OK, so he is just starting out on trumpet, and he was just playing Hot Cross Buns, but hey, we all start somewhere. :)

The best part was he asked if I could practice with him again next time

2. I love jamming with my kids and don't do it enough

I was actually in a Partrigde Family copy band with two of my kids for a while ( long story- forced into it at the bar where I worked.) We were "The Cartridge Family."

AS in: 12-gauge. It was VERY short lived.

band every tuesday night. It's great, especially when he throws in the high harmonies over my vocal. It's a nice feeling.
