I'm digitizing about 20 years worth of songs on to discs.
I had gone through this about 5 years ago, but recorded everything to DAT. Then I lost my access to a DAT deck. I borrowed one to use for the time being.
So I've got about 50 complete songs that we're done on various recorders....4TR reel, 4TR cassette, some 16TR and even a couple that were done in a nice studio downtown.
I'm doing just a little sweetening, mostly slight compression and most of it sounds surprisingly good.
It's fun to hear stuff that you worked on years ago. This oughta keep me busy for a couple of nights.

You're definitely getting your use out of that toy! Me, i'm still putting down rhythm tracks to my instrumental guitar deal. Having fun, myself. The Professor

I transfered a shitload of 4 track stuff to computer. Most of the stuff I had were noisy "demo" stuff and live recordings. I did it for a while and then stopped. Maybe I'll get back to it this winter. Have fun.
