Any recommendations for speakers? (Mains)

Seven piece working band with six vocals. We are currently using a Mackie 800M PA through Peavey 115HC speakers and the only thing going through them are vocals.
Two things:
I think our whole PA setup is maxed out so we will probably get a sound guy, move on to a 16 channel mackie (which one of the guys already has) so we can mike everything.
We also have a 3 piece working acoustic group and I would like something lighter than the peaveys. LOL, in a perfect world.
I guess the question is - Are there affordable good speakers around that would handle the seven piece band playing rock clubs and be lighter (30lb. range) than what I am lugging around now.
Orrrrr..... should I get lighter speakers for the acoustic gigs and then use them in tandem with the peaveys we already have?
