Thoughts on a "Teach Yourself Guitar" book/video/etc. set?
My in-laws would like to get a "Teach Yourself Guitar" type book/video/whatever set for their son, who is 23 years old. Anybody out there have any experience with any of these, and have one they might be able to recommend?

1. one thing you might try is try before you buy
I lot of library's have instructional DVDs in their collections. Though I have no idea how good the library is in the middle of WI. (north to south middle I know its on the lake.)
