I'm starting a "Hole Tribute Band"

Yes, that's Courtney Love's band.

Has anybody started a tribute band. I've seen a Rush Tribute Band with a female singer, so why can't I sing Courtney Love's songs? My friend was in a Bon Jovi Tribute Band, and if they are done right, Tribute bands can be done well.

Does anybody have any experience? I have already sent documents to Courtney Love's legal rep in Beverly Hills asking for her blessing, even though I'm 99% sure I don't need it. Then again, it is Courtney Love, who hasn't even allowed the sheet music of "Live Through This" to be published, so is there anything I should know about this legally? I'm not asking for legal advice, exactly, just general advice, really.
