| Anyone here ever do harsh noise or power electronics? |
|
Edited on Tue Jun-16-09 12:42 PM by mitchum
I generally like to play melodic music, but sometimes sending white noise through a harsh chopped tremolo and a couple of filters...at extreme volumes...can be very satisfying.
Guess what I have been doing this morning? Now, I have to go find where the dog has been hiding :)

Alright, I'm just goofing :) But Gads, the hurt that woman could put on a microphone was indistinguishable from "harsh noise and power electronics." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4EVj76htYst=01m37shttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9fFnVudKSI

| 3. Making and releasing Metal Machine Music was probably the greatest artistic... |

statement by any pop artist. A giant fuck you to the industry and fans and their expectations of an artist. Everything about the release (recording, liner notes, cover design) is crucial. However, as sonic art, MMM is mediocre at best.
