| How to store drums. Need to rent a storage place, does it need to be climate controlled? |
|
My goddaughter has a DW custom pro drum set that she needs to store as well as a travel kit. Her mom insists that the DW set needs to be stored climate controlled now in the summer to prevent damage, but I'm having trouble finding such a place near where I live. Many here get by advertising "climate control" because they are heated in the winter.
Any ideas? TIA
(I've got a thread from nearly a year and a half ago at the bottom of this page.)

| 1. Many (MANY) years ago, a drummer friend kept his Ludwigs stored on an |

enclosed but not heated porch. The bass drum warped. We have incredible temperature differences and very high humidity here, and the set was laminated wood. I don't know what materials your drums et is made from, but I'd call the customer service department of the manufacturer to be safe.
