| This is what Gore had to say at the U.N. yesterday: |

_ _ _ _ _
“We must link poverty reduction with the sharp reduction of carbon dioxide emissions,” he noted, calling for a plan of attack like that of the Marshall Plan, the post-World War II European reconstruction initiative of the US – to tie the struggles against climate change and poverty. _ _ _ _ _
I know a candidate who might be JUST perfect for that effort. I think you all would like hm, too. He's from Carolina, and has a real nice family as well.
A Gore endorsement would move things along nicely, IMO.

ALL the Hillary WILL be the nominee HYPE!! Having Gore endorse Edwards WOULD be SUPERFLUOUS! I wonder if he will do this. If this Hillary stuff continues, most of those who aren't actually activists will buy into what they think is POPULAR! They just go with the flow!

| 2. H, ChiciB1. I think this fall is going to be a wild, wild ride in U.S. politics. |
|
And I like the intensity and commitment the Edwards campaign people are showing.
It is VERY uplifting and impressive.

| 3. i think if gore endorses anyone it will be Edwards |

Edwards values are more in line with Gore's than any other candiate. Only other one I could see Gore endorsing is Richardson.

| 4. Agree. Hi, bpeale. I think Gore and Edwards would share quite a bit of |
|
common ground -- ground they likely feel has been compromised by the Bush administration.
Gore would be interested in someone with a genuine shot at the White House and Edwards is pretty well positioned.
I think Al would be VERY unlikely to endorse Senator Clinton.

i too think it would be very unlikely for Gore to endorse Hillary. Gore has more in common with Edwards & Richardson. Gore is actually friends with both of them. Now, what do you think would happen to Hillary's front runner status if Gore endorsed Edwards or Richardson? Do you think her support would evaporate?
