Ferraro has resigned, having tainted her iconic image.

Olbermann has enjoyed considerable praise on DU for some time now.

I don't always watch the program but after listening to the clip from last evening, I can understand the enthusiasm progressives feel for his talent and keen eye on the political landscape.

Frankly, there has been more than enough visceral debate on GD-P about both commentators & I don't really want to rehash it here, but I dislike the

fact that both of them have become punching bags for Obama-Clinton partisans. I have one point that I tried to make on a GD-P thread. While Keith

O. and Paul K. are very different, I do think they share one thing, which is a dislike of hypocrisy AS THEY SEE IT. (In other words, you or I may not

agree!) Keith O. sees -- rightly or wrongly -- the Clinton campaign as adopting some of the same tactics he has eviscerated faux news & the Bush

administration for years. Krugman sees hypocrisy in some of Obama's policies, particularly on health care, arguing that a proposal without mandates

(except for kids) is NOT universal health care and shouldn't pretend to be one for political expediency.

was very provocative, especially in terms of threshold interest.

His opening remarks, by the way, put the lie to your cliam that he's lost perspective.

A much stronger case could be that he is actually providing perspective, which is what he is paid to do.
