Congressional Black Caucus Legislative Conference on 9/21

My mom and I are going to this event (we are involved in our local chapter of Blacks in Government) and I figured a lot of you would probably be interested. The Congressional Black Caucus is having its annual Legislative Conference on September 21-24 in D.C. this year. Here's the site for it: http://www.cbcfinc.org/ALC/index.html

There are going to be a lot of really interesting forums and speakers, which you can check out on the schedule on the website. Among the highlights, Cynthia McKinney is going to speak on the ommissions made in the 9/11 Commission report.

I hope some of you can make it. I've never been to one before but I've heard they are always very powerful and informative.
