Yep, what about us? I'm in a interracial, inter-cultural relationship of the utmost extreme. My husband is a white, (grew up but non-practicing) Catholic, military officer who grew up on a farm in Australia. I'm a black, non-religious chick from the most inner of inner cities (SWATs y'all! And as more than more person on this site has found out, you can take the girl out of the SWATs but you cannot take the SWATs out of the girl. :rofl:) And yet, he is the love of my life and I have no idea what I would do without him. Lord, please don't let me find out anytime soon.

The main difference between the Tigers of the world and the Number23's of the world (in addition to exceptional wealth, that is) is that I only ever dated people of my own race until I met my husband who I fell madly in love with. If I had a "type" it would have been a 6'1, educated, Hershey's chocolate skinned brother weighing about 190 pounds. My husband, ironically, has about 3 of those qualities but is lacking the most descriptive one. :) And yet, I still lost friends over my choice of spouse. Apparently my choice of lifestyle (gallivanting all over the globe and marrying an Aussie) was just too much for a few of my friends. I wish I could say something much more eloquent and gracious, but for some reason "fuck 'em" is the only thing that keeps coming to my mind. :shrug:
