SEATTLE — Three Fort Lewis soldiers accused of robbing University of Washington students in Seattle have been charged with robbery.
Pvt. Robert E. Lucas Jr., of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Pvt. 1st Class Chad A. Braden, of Etna, Ohio, were each charged Friday in King County Superior Court with two counts of first-degree robbery.
Pvt. 1st Class Raymond Burrows III, of Central Falls, R.I., was charged with one count of first-degree robbery.
Lucas is 20, Braden is 19 and Burrows is 21.
The three are being held on $100,000 bail each.
