9 soldiers injured in LMTV rollover at Bragg

FORT BRAGG, N.C. — The Army is investigating a wreck that injured nine soldiers when the truck taking them to a training area rolled over on a Fort Bragg road.

The Army Special Operations Command said the accident occurred about 9 a.m. Tuesday near Mott Lake on the post.

A statement said 13 Special Forces soldiers undergoing advanced training were in the Light Medium Tactical Vehicle when it wrecked. Most were able to remove themselves from the wreckage and help others.

The injured soldiers were taken to Womack Army Medical Center for treatment. Their names weren’t released.
