I really should have been predicting the future, and realizing that there's a mint to be made by supplying our current US military with medals and ribbons.
At what point do they realize that medalizing their uniforms becomes a joke, counter-productve, and a source of scorn? When their left shoes have to be replaced sooner than their right ones, because of the extra weight?

This is not an attack on any military person's "service". It is an attack on the form vs. function, the show and tell that this admin concentrates on above everything else.
