| 2. It doesn't surprise me, it really doesn't |

Hubby and I were out at Haskell (Indian Nations University) this morning for a friend's book signing (it's Homecoming weekend) and he was wearing his Gore '08 t-shirt he got from Doug up in Michigan. He had several people talk to him about Gore running and how he would be the best candidate. A lot of the conversations were around AIT. I talked to one teenager who told me she had seen AIT twice and school and it kind of scared her. After she had seen it the second time she got on the internet and did some research. She told me she won't be old enough to vote for Gore next year but she'd love to vote to re-elect him in 2012.
It was nice being surrounded by people from a number of different tribes from all over the country and hear them all say that Gore is the best choice. Okay, it was also nice to be around people who look like me too. But, it was reassuring to know that there is a lot of support for him among the Indian community.
