for the link. And we all think Gore is doing this why??? Can we still harbor a bit of hope? After the knock-down, drag-out debate on Monday between Barack and Hillary I wonder how much "blood on the floor" we can stand before we hand this election (which is clearly our to lose) to the Republicans. Even though I've started working for the Obama campaign, I sincerely hope Edwards stays in the race to keep it a serious 3-way race with noone going into the convention with the requisite number of delegates to win it on the first ballot - and perhaps not even the 2nd or 3rd ballots. I personally can't see either Barack or Hillary releasing their delegates so one of them could go over the top. Edwards might release his and put (presumably) Barack over the top, but not before extracting some sort of deal (VP?) from him. No way Barack and Hillary could serve as a team - not after what they've been going through the past couple of weeks. Looks a little bleak for Gore to come riding in as the peace-maker if Edwards decides to throw his delegates to Obama on, say, the 2nd ballot. It almost would appear that Gore might have to get into the fray in some of the later primaries in order to pick up a bunch of delegates and then participate in the "dealing" at the convention; unfortunately, I don't see any indication that he might do that. So, unless there is some sort of behind-the-scenes dealing going on now between Obama, Edwards, and Gore I guess I've just talked myself out of seeing how Gore gets where we want him. Hmmm, guess I should stop doing this. Doesn't feel good at all.

| 5. Well, we have 7 months more to go of the blood-letting. |

Don't bet on it that Obama and Edwards won't go at it too. It's amazing to me how much hatred there is for the DEM candidates among democrats and really, to my view, there are not that many differences in what they are promoting.(please no flames here, just my opinion, tho I am definitely ABC.)
I think Gore could possibly step in as a unity candidate. I really do.

| 4. Alright... Can someone explain this to me? |

What has this to do with Climate Change? Doesn't it appear that these are political positions? Are we really so very sure that he does not have a plan to be the candidate this year? BTW, they are discussing this up front here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=102x3153831

Same clothes, haircut/style, same whiteboard with scribbles in blue in the background... I am glad he's done them. Just would like to know if its for more reasons than to draw attention to CurrentTV.

I really, again, can't see the reason as just being to draw attention to Current..he could have done that any number of ways, even in this vein. For example, he could have outlined his plan for environmental change within the US Gov, such as his proposal for a carbon tax, etc. Environmental laws that he would have enacted/would sponsor/would like to see in action. He could have used the platform to push environment-saving ideas for the common man, in easy-to-absorb video segments.
Instead, he is outlining what he believes in politically. Hell, NONE of them really mentions the environment in any major way, which is kinda weird.
ATM, I can see no other conclusion to be drawn than that these are position statements.
But, of course I could be completely wrong.

He could have had much much more to say about the Climate Crisis... but has chosen instead to feed these statements out bit by bit over the span of a few months... will have to go in there again and see if there is a consistent time between postings.
