| Did anyone else feel this on Solstice? |
|
I follow more of the ancient Taoist path, but I embrace all Earth-based spiritualities and feel very linked to the Earth. My girlfriend is a Druid, trained in Ireland (she's a dual citizen). Anyway, Anyway, on the Solstice I was feeling very drained, and my blood pressuer shot through the roof. I didn't get much sleep the night before, but I had never felt anything like this before. I went to bed, and my girlfriend meditated and connected to her Grove back in Ireland for the ceremony. I won't go into the details she gave me, but several things happened that have never happened before. She said she felt that the Earth was terribly out-of-balance, even more so than we previously thought.
Did anyone else feel anything unusual on this Solstice?

| 1. I've always felt the Earth out of balance. |

Especially since the first Gulf War! When Dumbya came into power, the whole balance became way out of wack! Today, when the new Congress and Senate is sworn in, I hope this rift in our balance is restored to normal levels.

I belong to a small grove and we had this exact conversation. We all felt that things were out of whack. It seems to have settled a bit but not entirely and we all have this feeling of waiting on something...

I too have been having the "waiting on something" vibe.
It sent a shudder through me that you stated it that way.

this year because my husband and I took his 26 year old daughter and our 4 year old daughter to the UK. Solstice evening we were in Edinburgh. The 26 year old was out and the 4 year old had settled in to bed without too much fuss. My husband stayed in the apartment while I went out to the close, sat in a bench and meditated. At first, all I felt was the press of history and people who had lived in the buildings around me for hundreds of years (the building our apartment was in was from the 16th century). But after a few minutes I sensed something similar to your girlfriend - the balance is terribly out of whack and it seemed to me as if nature was holding its breathe waiting to exhale and try to put it right.

That's very unusual for my latitude, and I'm pretty sure of what it means. :scared:

I get impressions not unlike some of you mentioned when I study the action of the markets - oil, corn, and other such things. That's not the same, though.
But I wonder if you might consider supplying some of the details? I realize that some guidance may be very personal, so I don't seek to pry. I'd just like to get some insight into what seems like a strange period.
