Is there anyone here from Kansas???? I'm from Hays KS. We actually do have quite a large number pagans/witches here...we just aren't united in anyway. The closest "new age" (haha) store is in Salina - Gaia's Garden, it is really great! I would like to find others from Kansas here, especially in western Kansas, so that perhaps we could form a real life discussion group.

I am in eastern OK. OK has a rather organized community, but still very secretive. I was here two years before I found a substanstial pagan group! The student group at OSU had to cease because they couldn't get an advisor, all of them had been chased away.

Flyers would appear in the mailbox inviting me to a Klan rally. Unbelieveable!

We saw nothing other than baptists, as far as the eye could see. We would drive up to Lawrence to decompress on the weekends.

no, that is clear across the state :( Hays is about 5 hours or so from K.C. Yeah, the closest pagan groups we can find are in Salina, about 1.5 hours away...and that is still fairly inaccessible to us because we can't afford the drive. The bad thing is, around here, we're surrounded mostly by Catholics.

Texaco Refinery. It seemed a bit more liberal but not much.

I think because it's a liberal oasis, LOL. I really feel for you guys that have to keep it on the "down low". I go crazy enough visiting relatives in scenic Greenville County, VA (which I think might be the capital of "Jesusland" if you get my drift). I couldn't imagine actually living someplace like that. They'd burn me alive, LOL.

southern New Mexico. There are a lot of Pagans in the area but most are pretty quiet. Love the weather here. We originally came from Missouri though.
