Gee, I was really hoping she wasn't a religious nut, but people who are NOT religious nuts are few and far between in my town.

I also hoped I had got past the "angry" phase, but I find I still get angry with the Jebus krispies who knock on my door, leave literature on my doorstep and send me unsolicited e-mails inviting me to become insane. Part of the problem is that I suffered from years of abuse with an ultra-religious fundamentalist theme. Getting over something is really hard when you're faced with it every fucking day. I try to keep my apartment religion-free for peace of mind, but the Borg-agains won't leave well enough alone. They always find ways to invade.

Fuck 'em all.

2. It can be tough...

it is thrown in our faces every day, in every way. You can't even escape it watching the news. Hell, even the History Channel, which I used to call the Hitler Channel, shows so much I am beginning to call it the Bible channel. I try to keep a good sense of humor about it. Reading this from you- "inviting me to become insane" made me laugh. Looks like you are trying to see the humor in it, too.
