1. The Flying Spaghetti Monster creation theory

(or the Stringy-Pasta Design theory) has been gaining credece among the scientific commnity of late. This theory postulates that the universe began, not with the big bang, but as a big splat, the result of a cooking accident when God forgot to take his stringy pasta off the cosmic stove and the Flying Spaghetti Monster was created. The FSM went on to create man and beast, bugs and cats. Scientists who support this theory agree the results were mixed, but it was the FSM's first try.

I would be interested in hearing how Kansas is planning to handle this in the schools. After all, the President directed that children should be exposed to different theories so they can make up their own minds.
