Do not be so quick as to judge others. I think he did the role perfectly, and besides, this was his 1st role basically. Lucas was looking for a nobody who could pass of for looking like luke's father. I think he fit the part perfectly.

That Hayden guy is a horrible actor. The night I saw Episode 2, the scene where he whines "OBI-WAN IS HOLDING ME BACK!!" like a spoiled kid in a 1950s movie made the whole audience burst out laughing, and we continued to giggle throughout the rest of the movie.

And this weenie is supposed to somehow grow into the big, bad, fearsome Darth Vader?

Why, oh, why couldn't they have gotten someone more physically imposing to play him, like a young David Prowse bodybuilder type? Or couldn't they at least have found someone who looked more like (the original) Anakin in Episode 6?
