| Favorite Doctor Who stories, and why? |
|
Which really stand out as being classics, or at least well produced that can make you overlook any silliness in the plot?
Some, but not all stories include:
"The Faceless Ones" "The Invasion" "The Ark in Space" "The Stones of Blood" "Castrovalva" "The Mark of the Rani" "Battlefield" "Inferno" "The Seeds of Death" "The Dalek Masterplan" "Marco Polo" "An Unearthly Child" "Kinda" "Snakedance" "Meglos"
And others... would be fun to discuss.

I just loved Invasion of time. It just kept building and building. The first time I got a really good sense of the inside of the Tardis. Dr. Who saving the universe gloriously.
That and the whole Key of Time season.
and Planet of Fire, which redeemed Turlough and intoduced the curvy Peri. :-)

and the ones with the guy with the big head trying to take over earth / tom baker. sontarans maybe?
oh god the one in space with the big bug. the robot one. the one when the time lords were all trying to do him in.
oh all of them. i love doctor who. i loved pertwee and his damn goofy car tom baker is my absolute favorite. and leela of course. oh and sarah jane.
in the late 80s there was a doctor who tour which came to the public tv station near the studio i worked at. I took my son who is now 19 then he was still in a stroller.
he absolutely freaked out when he saw davros and the supreme dalek. had to take him out outside he thought they were real. he loved k9 though.
