This show is so annoying. I've watched a couple of episodes just to see what all the fuss is about and truly loathe it.
edit for typo.

I lost a ton of respect for Patricia "it's my morals that supercede a woman's right to choose" Heaton when I found out she was anti-choice. F'ing bitch.
I have tried watching it in the past and it's a snore...

Oh goodie.
Gawd, those are some annoying people. Worse than Kelso on That 70's Show.

The good sitcoms are ending, being replaced by more news or "reality" shows.:-(

Maybe because we have twins and dysfunctional families but we find the show hilarious. This thread is proof that there are lots of tastes in comedy out there! :D

| 10. And I believe that I know both Raymond and his father in my life, |

which is what makes it humorous to me. I recognized them on the very first show that I saw. This is a very well-done show and I mourn that's it's ending and the demise of the sitcom. It's served us well, since "I Love Lucy.":-(

I know I never saw the winning potential of this show. The stars and co-stars cleaned up every year but I just didn't get it. Seems like the show was the same week after week. Husband with head up butt, wife long suffering, the usual childhood worries, and the flaky in-laws. Same every darn week. I never got the appeal of Home Improvement or many other sitcoms either. They never deviate from the standard men are insufferable boobs who love their families but essentially clueless and wives just one good rant away from going postal all wrapped up and lovey dovey in 22 minutes. Now Roseanne...she is annoying as hell but at least it had some real life BS in it.
