Anyone own the First Season of "American Dreams"?

It costs about $80, but since it looks like my tax refund will be higher than I thought it would be this year, I'm going to get it. It has a lot of special features to it.

Unfortunately I missed the entire first season of the show, and only caught two episodes of the second season. But I am now hooked on it, and think it to be a fine piece of work.

1. One of my favorite shows!

Sorry I don't have it recorded but I do think it's worth getting, especially if you haven't seen it.

My husband and I were just a little younger in the early sixties than Meg is (we were in third grade when Kennedy was assassinated) and we have a son who is a Marine, so we truly relate to many of the stories.

I was about Patty's age during the time they are covering so I can really relate to what is going on too.

4. Brittany Snow is a fine actress

I think she will avoid the fate of so many other actresses of her age group.

I hope the show lasts through 1968. That's when all hell broke loose in the country.

I would love to have every episode. I didn't know you could get the first season, I'm going to look into getting it. :thumbsup:
