Amazing Race (spoilers) 2-1-5

Odd that we didn't get a thread on this last night.

Kind of figured it'd be a non-elimination round. The Wee Ones are going to have a problem with finances, unless they luck out in the lobby of the hotel.

Jon and Kris were getting hosed by cab drivers. That was brutal! At one point I would have gone ahead and walked it; they only had about 3 miles, and the cabby was lost.

So far, I'm still predicting a Jon and Kris win. Freddy's already done all his roadblocks, so it's up to Kendra from here on out. Aaron and Hayden I feel have a blowup coming, and I really don't see the Wee Ones pulling it off.

1. I figured that as well

though I thought they'd do two more episodes, one where they got rid of the fourth place team and then a finale.

Adam and Rebecca are in trouble, but somehow they seem to manage to get through. God knows how. He's such a big baby.

I'm rooting for Kris and Jon, but as long as Kendra doesn't win, I'm okay.

3. I want Chris and Jon but

2. I was glad last night was non-elimination

I didn't want Hellboy and Rebecca eliminated (as much as I dislike him) because I can't stand the Freddy/Kendra and Aaron/Hayden teams. I'd rather he won than those other two teams. Maybe Freddy's dislike for what's-his-name Devilboy will distract him and keep them from passing Jon/Kris. Did that make any sense? Oh well, I knew what I meant and that's all that counts. ;)

The wrestlers' elimination is affecting me more than I thought. I knew they were growing on me but I didn't realize how much until I missed watching them last night. I like Kris and Jon and want them to win, but they aren't really entertaining to watch like Lori/Bolo.

usually, it's the people I dislike who get saved by the noneliminations. Well, I can't say I like horney-hair and his not-so-much-a-girlfriend, but compared to that awful Kendra and that other model couple ...

4. I was on pins and needles last night

I couldn't believe Kris and Jon's luck. That's the most upset I've ever seen Jon. It proves that he is a really nice guy, because you cannot fake his reaction to that situation. I probably would have strangled someone, but he was relatively calm.

Although I'd like to see Kris and Jon win, as long as it's not Freddy and Kendra I will be okay.

Next week should be exciting.

6. Goatboy won't handle the pressure of having no money

and I'm ready to see that couple go. I call him goatboy for the billygoat horns in his hair.

8. It's a shame she's with him...

She's not that bad except for having a screw loose to begin with for being with him. I feel safe saying she will be the one begging for the money. Remember how she begged for food on the train in one of the early episodes?

7. Here's something I didn't get.....

Didn't someone make a comment about how long they were on the plane to China? Why, during that time, didn't they ask a flight attendant to tell them a few key words in Chinese? They really needed "please, thank you, taxi, how much? where? and fast" to name a few.

And I know you can't hail a taxi here during rush hour. They make you phone ahead for one, so it was no surprise they had trouble there.

I think the communication gap is going to be tough on Hellboy & His Momma when they have to beg for money.

9. Glad to see Rebecca and Adam are still in it

I can't stand Adam, but Rebecca's pretty cool in my book. Except for the fact that she enables the manchild's infantile behavior.

And I desperately need two teams to go against the loathsome Hayden-Aaron and Freddy-Kendra, even if one of them is somewhat hobbled by having no money and by having an idiot on board.
