Anyone have any favorite cartoons from either when they were a kid or that's on now?
I was a huge Superfriends fan as a kid.
It's so easy to enjoy the new Justice League they've got going now.

| 2. Pink Panther, Ant & the Aardvark, |
|
Underdog, Bullwinkle (LOOOOVE the puns), Tom & Jerry... so many classics.
As far as new cartoons, I really got hooked on Samurai Jack but haven't been able to catch it in months.

I really miss that show. Ant & the Aardvark were so cool, too.
That cartoon was one of a kind.

| 5. I could have watched "Rocky and Bullwinkle" for days as a kid. |
|
I still wish I could watch them now and then.
I like Tom and Jerry, too, but it has to be the older ones.

so naturally, I loved Rainbow Brite, She-Ra, Jem and the Holograms, and The Care Bears.
But I also loved Alvin and the Chipmunks, He-Man, GI Joe, Thundercats, Transformers, Tom and Jerry, and Looney Toons.
Oh, and I had a crush on Speed Racer! :D

I must have been a little dim, because I watched it a lot before it finally dawned on me that every single episode was the same.

It was especially fun to see the re-runs as I got older and caught more and more layers of the humor.
I also loved all the Warner Brothers cartoons. It just occurred to me that I was an elitist snob as a 2nd or 3rd grader--a fellow student was reading the captions on a film strip and she kept saying "yoze-mite," and I could stand it no longer and said right out loud, "It's Yo-Se-Mi-Te, like Yosemite Sam!" That was the first time I got in trouble in school.
