Wow, that was fun! Rob managed to figure out a way to play Survivor on TAR.

First time I can think of that someone quit as a strategic move. And convincing others to quit, but only after it appeared there was a gap? Sweet!

Lynn and Alex are so annoying, though.

Hopefully that's the only eating challenge this season. I don't want to watch Fear Factor.

1. Rob has taken this game to a new level

and I am so impressed. I was hoping that mother and son were going to be eliminated!! Maybe next week! The best friends who left last night had no one to blame but themselves - they speak excellent Spanish and they didn't bother to ask for directions. And speaking of directions, how about Rob's police escort? Marvelous!!

3. They DID ask for directions

thats what makes it so stupid. They went back to their hotel before they even got their car and got directions on how to get out of town. Then they got on the highway and plain missed the exit they KNEW would be within about 5-10 minutes. Then they drove another 2 hours. Just dumb.

Reading a map is part of the deal. There's a BIG difference in 10 minutes and 2 hours!!!! If you screw up that bad, you deserve to be eliminated.

2. I'm starting to like Rob

I hated him on survivor, but he's growing on me. I think partly because the people who are out to get them on the show are kind of annoying. The gay couple that won this time...wow they are way too obsessed with Rob and Amber. They need to calm down.

When Rob said he was going to take the penalty I thought it was a mistake. I thought he was simply thinking that nobody else would finish in the 4 hour time span. I was impressed that he manipulated two other teams to take the penalty as well, and after his clock had started. At that point he knew that he wasn't going to come in last. Very smart.

The mother and son team. They annoy me as well. Well the son does. He's kind of a whiner. I liked his mother saying that's she'd eat and then vomit and eat more. They played dumb though. Not only did they waste a couple hours driving around Santiago with no clue as to how to get out of the city but they got to the yield, knowing they were pretty far behind the others, but they saw that there was one team still behind them. When else would be a good time to yield? Granted they scraped it out anyway, but me...If I knew that we were probably 2 hours behind the other groups, not knowing what was ahead, and that there was another group that could show up any minute and pass us....I'd have yielded them. Dumb playing. "It's too early to yield someone"...christ...use the freaking yield!
