Rescue Me--Best show you're not watching

And thank god for DVRs. I just watched the new episode last night and WOW! This show just keeps getting better. Although, I knew she was going to leave all her money to the cats.

1. What a finale!

I loved this season. I was devistated by Connor's death, but thought that Leary acted his ass off. The show has great writing. I never watched season one, and will rent the dvds to catch up.

3. I cried thrice

The scene when he is asking to be hit again and again is very touching.

I think his wife is going to kill herself in the next episode.

Now we get to move on to The Shield in the same time slot.

2. DH absolutely loves this show!

I started DVR'ing it for him so he doesn't miss any shows. I had not seen one episode until the finale. Very sad :(

But I can certainly see that this is a very good show!

I can't believe with everything else that has happened to this character they killed his son. :wow: So sad!

5. I was shocked, too

I thought they would carry the final outcome out over to next season. I can't wait until season 3.

6. Such a compelling show.

As if the poor guy didn't have enough going on?! Whoa!

It should be interesting, things with his wife weren't all that stable. This will probably tear them apart.
