Danni. I could not be happier for her. Though I will always hold a place in my heart for Stef, I was glad Danni won. Stef played a great game in terms of knowing when to turn on the competition, but she did not turn on them well. She pissed everyone off. That said, I wish these people would chill out, it is a game for goodness sake. She played better than you, so let it go.

Rafe was a fool to keep Danni in the game. Danni or Steph should have been sent packing, not Lydia. He cut his own throat. I think Rafe beats Steph one on one and makes a better case against Danni.

I'm glad Danni won though. She came through very difficult odds, with the merge being 6-4 and got into people's heads when needed and did her job well. I like Judd's comments to Danni about ice skating. At first I thought it was a Greg Pick a Number kind of comment, but it was pretty well thought out. She did balance very carefully and she won with her ability to balance.

anyway, a great season, and I hope we don;t see any of these survivors in another season.

1. I was rooting for Steph but I'm glad Danni won.

Anybody but Judd! He really had a meltdown when the jury was asking D & S questions. I don't understand why he was so concerned about how much Steph eats...was she eating so much that Judd didn't get his share or what? I don't remember seeing such poor sportsmanship (Jamie, Judd and Cindy) when players got voted off. Like you said, it's a game! Chill out!

2. I am glad Danni won

(& not just because I picked her to win). After reading about her on the CBS website at the beginning of the season, I thought she might be kind of stuck-up. I was happy that she seems like a really nice person.

I liked Steph last season but she started to really get on my nerves in this one. As someone in another thread called her: "Stephe-Me". I actually thought that if any previous Survivors deserved a second chance, it was the two voted out immediately that one season -- the singing teacher lady and that guy. Was that Palau? Jeez, I don't remember at all and I won't look it up now as my computer is extremely s-l-l-l-o-o-o-o-o-o-w tonight. Anyway, I don't know that I wanted to listen to her singing for a season, but they never really had a chance.

I also liked Rafe but the last couple episodes he started to grate on my nerves. Maybe it was the whole Cindy and the car thing.

Anyone have any idea what the final vote was? I don't remember Jeff mentioning it or seeing it. Danni had at least 4 and Steph at least 1. How about the other two votes?

4. It has me really curious

I looked on CBS's website on Monday and there was nothing. Usually Jeff makes a big deal about it being really close (4 to 3) or a blow-out (6 to 1). Huh. This is gonna be one of those silly things that will bug me until I find the answer!

5. My impression from watching is that Rafe was the only one

who voted for Steph, so Danni won hands down with the rest of the votes. I don't think Jeff went there because it might have been embarrassing to Steph. And I too am glad Danni won; she deserved it, and managed not to piss anyone off in the process.
