Survivor Contest - Pick the winner - NO SPOILERS

LAst season was fun and the winner is enjoying her very cool t-shirt. I asked a few weeks ago how people wanted to runt he contest and a majority wanted to pick before the first show. I agree and like the idea of picking off the pictures on the cbs website. This season I will leave the contest open until the survivors run out or the start of the second episode (8:00 Thursday EST).

So everyone who wants to play, pick out a survivor. Whoever's survivor pick makes it the furthest in the game wins the prize. Each survivor can only be picked by one person, so make the name the subject of you post. First person to post a survivors name gets that survivor.

I plan to pick up another T-shirt as a prize. The cbs store always puts the old t-shirts from last season on sale very cheap. I will see what I can get but no promises.

I'll wait til Monday to make my pick to give others a chance. You don't have to pick now though, I will leave it open until next Thursday. There is is that the person you want will be chosen by someone else. So if you want someone badly, take that person right away. No switching or trading later. One pick per person. Have fun.

ALSO - Please NO SPOILERS in this thread. I don;t want anyone saying they know what happens. I don;t want to know what happens. I just want to pick someone to win and watch the show. Thanks.

Last time I picked the young Brian. this year I think I will go with experience. I was leaning toward Dan Barry, Cerie Fields and Terry Deitz. Since the astronaut is out, I'm going with the former navy pilot. Though I think Cerie is a great pick and someone should grab her soon.

First pick and she is out. However, the contest is still open until Thursday, so you can try another in my book. I don't mind. This is not a very serious contest, so I don't think anyone will protest. Why not take advantage of the rules that the contest is still open until the start of the second episode on the east coast and pick another survivor.

lpbk2713, you made the first pick, and it was the pick I would hav emade if you did not. Dan was a great player. If they would have gotten some food, I think they would have done far better. Dan was startign to look sickly for the lack of food.

I wish they would get rid of Shane. I can't figure out why he's still there. Terry is looking the strongest. If he uses the idol he found on Exile Isle, they "re-hide" it. (Read that in TV Guide!)

no way he pulls off three more wins in ICs. I think Aras and Cirie are the final 2. I bet she turns on the other girls. Plus I think Aras secretly hates Shane. I think Aras has this thing locked up, I bet the other girls want to turn on him and Cirie Shane and Aras off them.

25. Sorry MaineDem, Bruce got sick and had to leave the game

I hate seeing players have to leave due to illness. I will always wonder what would have happened had Michael not fallen into the fire. His tribe may have gone into the merge up 6-4 and then Colby and Tina would not have been in it.

Here it has less of an impact since Bruce appeared to be the next one to go, but who knows what would have happened.


As for DU Survivor, here is what is left:

I don't think I have much of a chance, no way Terry wins out immunity. I think it is Daniell and Aras' game to lose. Cirie is in that group, but I suspect Ara and Danielle would stick together over her. I have a feeling there is a spark between those two.

I hate Shane and hope he goes next.

I only watch the second half of the show this season, since my SO tapes "Smallville" on our other TV, and I watch "Everybody Hates Chris" at eight.

I've watched some seasons religiously, and missed others (Africa) entirely.

Is this the most bizarre group they've ever had left?

and Shane, whose neuroses defy description.

Terry, Aras and Danielle seem relatively normal in comparison.
