This season of 24 shaping up to be the BEST... SPOILERS...

I suppose you can have a "spoiler" on a TV show in this day of Tivo...

It's a little late in the game to join in, but I wanted to touch base with those people watching this season.

I LOVE the twist with the President at the end of this week's show!

The actor playing the President is GREAT!

1. I don't watch--

I haven't since season one actually. No, wait---mid of season two I think.

I just wanted to say, something great must be going on with that show. I can't tell you how many times I've encountered someone wanting to talk about 24!

My hair stylist enthusiastically shared a few episodes with me during my last appointment. It was so cute--I've never seen her excited about a tv show before.

2. It's gotten better since then...

I thought the first two seasons were THE WORST, but it's picked up SINCE then. Last year was VERY good, but this season is the best so far, prompting my message.

On a side note, in response to your msg, I should say that simply, PEOPLE LOVE CLIFFHANGERS! 24 DELIVERS!

THIS season, the corruption makes its way all the way into the Whitehouse, where Jack Bauer's loyalty will be challenged!

I should add, Kiefer Sutherland is turning in some of his best acting, IMO. I don't credit him with being a very good actor, but I believe he's fleshed out Jack Bauer to a higher level than any other character he's played.

ONE LAST NOTE - If you haven't seen LAST season, I would consider it a prerequisite for this season, where many of the threads are being closed...

3. With so many shows on dvd these days,

it's easy to go rent something and get up to speed. Maybe I'll check it out. Thanks for the review! I'm a sucker for great acting performances and character development. :hi:

5. I totally agree; this season has been a nail-biter!

Every hour is packed with action and drama; the writers are amazing!

My two fave shows are '24' and 'The Sopranos'.

6. Follow up - Will Jack be able to bring down the PRESIDENT? ooooh, YEAH!

Imagine!

The president rigs a terrorist attack involving WMD's in order to justify military action to get control of oil!

This season's plot redeems itself for all of the 'uber-patriotism' of the prior seasons!

7. The more the prez in "24" exposes himself, the more he

resembles someone familiar. :think: At least the evilness is reminiscent.

10. I don't know of any until the season is over and they start the A&E

reruns on Mondays. Sometimes they do a weekend of 24 on A&E.
