Survivor Final Predictions

Well, we are down to FIVE. And DUers playign our game picked four of them. Must be something in the water here.

My thoughts on how this plays out are as follows:
Terry has immunity, so no matter what he is in the final four. That means someone is going home and if that last reward challange means anything, its Shane going home Thursday.

The Final four is Terry, Cirie, Danny and Aras.

I think Terry's immunity idol can't be used in the final three. I also think he will not need it. I think he wins out immunity. I think Terry wins the final four immunity and Aras and Danielle vote out Cirie. Terry will probably tell Cirie he is voting for Aras and hope that she votes for him to force a tie. Aras seems pretty smart and will probably tell cirie that he is voting for Danielle. I think in the end Cirie will be voted out by surprise and be pissed at either Danielle or Aras.

Final Three, I thin Terry wins again. If history is any lesson, it will be an endurance challange and he seems pretty solid, though all these challanges have to be taking a toll on him. I say he wins and takes Danielle with him, figuring she will be easier to beat than Aras. No matter, Terry loses whoever he goes against in the finale.

I think it will be Danielle beating Terry in the end. In case I am wrong and Aras manages to get in the finals against anyone but Danielle, I think Aras wins. Cirie can really only beat Terry in the finals. I don't think she can beat either Aras or Danielle.

Danielle v. Aras would make for the best finale, as they would split the vote down the middle. I just don't see Terry losing a challange, so I don't think this will happen. But who knows. I never would have picked Jenna or Matthew beating Rob C in that finale.

2. I got a T-Shirt

The CBS store had Guatemala t-shirts, normally $20, marked down to $12, then 50% off. I also had a 15% off coupon, and they let me use it with the clearance item. So I got this great t-shirt for under $5. It is pale blue with the Guatemala logo on the front, size XL, but it should shrink because it is 100% cotton.

I think it will be yours or ernstbass's prize. Though I like Terry and Cirie so much more.

4. Jeez, I don't know

I don't even know who I want to win this season. I was kind of rooting for Bruce for a while but that is obviously out of the question now.

Aras is starting to grow on me.

I couldn't stand Cirie the first few episodes but she is growing on me, too.

Shane... 'nuff said but it would be entertaining to see him in the final 2 answering the questions and pleading for $1 million.

Danielle, nothing against her but I'm not rooting for her.

Terry: I respect him because he is obviously good at the challenges and he's got some brains. However, he was too cocky pre-merge for my taste and the whole member-of-the-military thing annoys me. Plus, when people keep winning I get irritated (kind of like the "frat boys" on this season of The Amazing Race. I couldn't even watch the last 10 minutes of that show tonight as MoJo was pissing me off so bad. But I digress.) Winning all the immunities didn't work well for Colby (Australia). I don't know how I would vote as a jury member with Terry on the block. Sure, he won all the immunities so he outplayed others, but he didn't have to fight his way to the finals in other ways. If that even makes sense.

So I just babbled a lot and didn't answer the question. I think Terry wins. Didn't the firefighter win a number of immunity challenges and he won overall? I am happy that Cirie and Aras and Danielle finally mixed it all up last week. ABOUT FREAKING TIME!

5. I'm with you in a lot of ways.

I had Bruce from the beginning and I'm sorry he went out the way he did.

I really think Cirie has outwitted (she's done some great vote manipulation) but I'm not sure she has the ability to outlast. Terry has outplayed (as far as the challenges go) but I don't think he has outwitted. Who will outlast is the big unknown.

Terry still has the freaken' immunity idol to play. As soon as he loses a challenge they'll vote him off and he'll use it. But that's only good until the final 3 or 4, right? He might wait too long. I bet something happens with that tonight. He might offer it to someone else for a vote.

I don't want to see Terry win nor do I want Shane to win. After that I really don't have a preference right now.

9. I would love Terry to win

but I thinks its Aras or Danielle. Cirie just shot herself in the foot. If she would have sided with Terry and Shane and broken up Aras and Danielle, whe would be fine. I think Cirie goes next and its either Terry and Aras or Terry and Danielle.

6. Well, I (Dani) almost went down tonight

The editing set me up! I had a feeling that Nutboy would get the boot, but they tried to make it looks as if it were Dani.

Okay, now this is getting interesting.

7. I actually think Cirie can get to the final two

If she succeeds in getting rid of Danielle next week, either Terry or Aras will take her to the final two. She has a good chance of winning if she is able to really communicate her behind the scenes master manipulations. I just love that woman.

8. Oh, I do too (spoilers)

She has really come along in learning survival skills. Her laugh is infectious. When she caught that fish last week it was one of the funniest things I have ever seen on Survivor. She is really thinking through the game and not just allowing others to determine her fate. Her move to get rid of Courtney was an excellent move and set her up nicely for the final two.

I was so mad! And I will be on a plane somewhere over the Atlantic when the finale airs!

I convinced myself that Terry would give Danielle the hidden immunity and then Cirie would automatically be out. I didn't want that outcome, but I thought it would happen. My husband was hoping Terry would give it to Danielle and then Danielle would secretly tell the others that Terry was vulnerable. I thought that was farfetched but a good idea.

I was hoping the editing was planned to show us that Danielle was aligned with Terry but in the end, if she got the immunity idol from him, they would all vote off Terry. But no. And I agree it was pretty farfetched but I liked the scenario.

I share your "ack!" I'm pulling for Cerie to make it to the final 3. I wanted to know last night, though, not have to wait 'til Sunday. :D

I think Terry is toast. At least I hope so.

14. How did Terry get away with not giving Danielle the idol?

Didn't he promise it to her multiple times? Is she that stupid? Huh???

I don't care who wins, as long as it's not Terry. Or Danielle. :-)

which means, during the vote, she *knew* she did not have it, which means, she went along with him even though she *knew* he didn't keep his word. Right???

Or, was she hoping he would sneak it to her at tribal council? I don't think Jeff would have allowed that.

Of course, who else would she have voted for anyway, since if they had voted for Terry, he would have used the idol and then whoever he had voted for would have left.

She could have been sneaky and told Aras and Cirie that Terry *did* promise it to her and that they should vote for Terry, and then she could have voted for Cirie, knowing that Terry would vote for Aras, forcing a tie between Cirie and Aras.

I can't believe I picked Danielle - first time in all the survivors I picked anyone who made it to the final 2!

she did nothing the whole game and was doomed no matter who she took. Once Terry was out I was bummed.

I never win anything!! It's such a shame Terry didn't win because he really deserve it. I came across a spoiler about six weeks ago that indicated an off shore betting site had closed their betting because so many peopoe were betting Danielle would win - So it was a pleasant surprise for my guy to win!!
