The Office - US version

Is there anyone here who watches the US version of "The Office"? I thought this was one of the best episodes they've done. Funny and painful.

I enjoy Ricky Gervais' original as well - plus his "The Extra" when I've had the chance to see it.

1. I didn't like it at first

And didn't watch it for the first half of the season. But, I gave it a few more tries, and eventually it grew on me, and now I love it.

I liked the Gareth character better than the US one. And Jim, being my favorite character in both, is played equally well by both, I think.

2. The Gareth character is actually scarier than the Dwight character

You could see Gareth killing someone as he claims he can do. Dwight would run away with his tail between his legs....

I think the Jim/Pam chemistry is better in the US show, although the receptionist character in the UK show has really grown on me.
