No 'Supernatural' fans here?

I've become a great Supernatural fan since Christmas, which is funny, as I get scared as hell when I see horror movies. I must admit I watch the episodes with fingers in my ears and my eyes half closed at times, but I must get my weekly fix of Sam and Dean.

I really like the way Eric Kripke hasn't revealed the main mythology of the show too teasingly, actually giving us parts of it at regular intervals, while at the same time not putting eerything out in the open. I also like the relationship between the brothers, how they quarrel and bicker, but are willing to die for each other when necessary (even if they do it with a bitchy comment.) Jared Padalecki's acting abilities have grown in bounds and leaps since the beginning of season 1, and Jensen Ackles finally gets a character which isn't ruined by writers or the demands of co-stars.

Last week's episode was hilarious, with various glimpses of how the brothers regard each other. It also poked fun at the premise of the show, showing a willingness to laugh at itself which was very appealing.

Doesn't any other DUer watch this show?

1. We like it in our house, but unfortunately there's too much on

on Thursdays. We're already taping one set of shows while watching the other (yes, we still use tape vs. TiVo)

We're also huge fans of Survivor, Earl, The Office, 30 Rock and Smallville (and *I* like ER)

3. Did you see Thursday's ep?

I thought it was brilliant. I had to laugh at myself, tho' - I clearly wasn't as used to being scared after the hiatus, so I could hardly watch the first scenes, I was so scared. It got better when the brothers entered the story, tho'.

7. Oh man! Just finished the season one finale!

What a season ending moment!

That show just got better and better with every episode.

Can't wait to see season 2.
