Survivor Fiji - Episode 5 Discussion Thread - NO SPOILERS

I am sorry to see Rita gone. She seemed tough and smart. I am feeling bad for Ravu. They have no strength at all. I hope Yau-Man and Earl find the Idol. Earl is a smart guy and should do well in this game. I hope they do merge soon so that Dreamz and Cassandra can join with Yao Man and Earl and pick off the assholes on Moto. I like Alex, Dreamz and Cassandra but really can't stand the rest of Moto. Not that it matters. I think Moto will keep winning and Anthony then Rocky will be the next two to go. Moto will sweep into the merge and one of them will probably win. But Earl and Yau are smart and can shake things up if they get to the merge down only two.

That padded sumo fight was unfair. Ravu could barely lift the pillows.
Dreamz made short work of Rocky. I would have let Earl go after Dreamz, but Rocky's temper got the better of him. The way Dreamz was treated after the win with the coffee made me sick. Stacy and Lisi are being dumb and I hope it comes back to get them. Edgardo and Alex need to be careful or they will get dragged down.

The immunity contest was close and Ravu should have won. But they lost again, no surprise. I will miss Rita.

1. I don't enjoy seasons where one team so dominates

Like the season where the entire team was decimated except Stephanie, and when she went to the other team, she was of course voted right off.

5. I fear that is gonna happen here

Unless Alex was right and Dreamz and Cassandra turn on their tribemates at the merge. That would make it fun.

16. I agree, it made me sick to my stomach to watch one team

completely starve. It's not a true match-up because they are so weak and it's not fun as a viewer because they aren't able to really compete. I think the arrogance of the two women on the Moto tribe will come back to bite them. It was so wrong what they did. I'm glad there will be a mix-up coming and hopefully Ravu will get some food in their stomachs.

The haves vs. the have nots. Not a fun season. It is similar to what is going on in our country right now.

2. Don't they usually start mixing up the tribes about this time?

I completely forgot about that. I wonder if Burnett will do that or if any of the contestants are even thinking about it happening.

at first I thought she was going to coast but when it was here neck on the line she worked it beautifully in a subtle manner. She is a smart one.

Rita ran at her at top speed and it was like she hit a wall. It was great to see.

3. I thought it was a good episode...

I'm okay with Rita going, she really brought nothing to Ravu and she was the next logical choice. I'm not a fan of Dreamz but the way he was treated back at camp with the coffee thing was terrible. To say right to his face that I'm not going to tell you about how this coffee works, and I love coffee and have never used a french press like that. I think they are still hurting after Dreamz said to their face last week that they should go because they were the weakest. Alex had a very good point to at least keep a congenial relationship in the interest of the group as a whole and to not be so short sighted.

The previews for next week look good, I can't wait. Actually I think it's two weeks away.

6. When does basketball start?

Usually Survivor takes the first week or two of the tourney off because CBS shows the games.

of the NCAA, I can't wait to see how far my Tigers go. Go Tigers.

From the preview, it looks like instead of a merge, Jeff asks if anyone from Moto wants to switch teams and Dreamz goes for it.

Ravu hasn't even won a reward challenge, have they? Give them some food, for pete's sake!
