Father issues on Lost.

I haven't been reading the Lost blogs so this may not be very original but . . .

after learning that Ben killed his father and seeing him try to force Locke to kill his father, it dawned on me that nearly everyone on that island whose back story we've seen has a father issue of some sort -- except Charlie, maybe? (He had a brother issue.) This can't be a coincidence, I'm thinking. :shrug:

Mothers, fathers, or both. I think that's part of the reason why they survived and the other people on the plane didn't.
