Anyone watching Damages on FX?

What a great start to a series. Watches like a good novel reads. Little bits given to you as you need to know them with plenty still unknown. Wonder if it will head in the shitcan soon?

2. I keep wondering about the main character.

If she's really all that smart, then why does she keep working there? Why not work for the nice older guy who gives such great advice? Me, I'd leave after that stunt of getting me out of the office before talking with my SIL-to-be.

5. Because it's a great job.

And she is naive. She was smart enough to figure out that she was only hired for the witness but still naive enough to believe it when told that wasn't why she was hired. She obviously gets rid of the naivete at the "present time" of the show--albeit a little late.

4. I just watched the first 2 shows, pilot and 1st show

Man, that show is riveting! So far I think it is smokin'. Glenn Close is the bitchiest she's been outside of Fatal Attraction. And Ted Danson is a scheming snake.

I liken the show to Law & Order meets Devil Wears Prada with a bit of Sopranos sprinkled on top. :evilgrin:

Thanks for the heads up, I had it on my radar screen and then had company for 3 weeks, forgot to TiVO it.

6. It's worth the Tivo space.

Close gets even better and better as well as Danson. I think there is plenty more to come from both of them.

7. Damn this show is getting riveting, I know I keep saying this

but just when you think you've got it figured out, somebody does or says something that completely discounts your theories of how this is going to end.

8. I can't wait for the next episode

There is so much shit I NEED to know. Like is that woman a stalker or working for Glenn Close. Or Ted Danson!!!! It watches like a great novel that you just don't have time to read the next chapter of so you just obsess about it while you should be doing other stuff.

9. I have no idea, it is so complicated

Just watched the 9/25 episode and I wonder if the girl Frobisher was in the car accident with was Patty's "daughter" -- i mean why does she have such personal vendetta for him?

IMHO, this is the best damn TV of the season. (this and Mad Men)

12. They just did a Damages marathon on FX today.

Wow, it was even better than I remembered.

Heard a rumor there was a Damages Season 2 coming. Can't way.

and couldn't find it any where. Damn it was a great show.
