I watched the premeiere last night but fell asleep before the end. At least I taped it and will watch it today.
The creativity on this show fascinates me. And I love Tim!

| 1. So many gay guys and some real hotties |
|
They seem to have some really great designers this time. Even the worst dresses this time were actually quite good.

It seems that every season they say that "this is the strongest group of designers ever," but this year may prove that to be true.
Elisa's design though -- words fail. I'm surprised the model didn't fall flat on her face. I wonder if she will be the new Santino or the new Vincent? Should be entertaining!

| 4. I was thinking that.... |

I'm no designer, but I thought there could have been a way to work all those colors into the train...maybe taking strips and sewing them lengthwise, or something...I really loved the aesthetic. ALL the colors were gorgeous and the gown was exquisitely made, better than the winner's, I thought. (It will take me a few weeks to get their names memorized.)
I thought she'd be voted off, but the loser's dress was poorly executed. Now I'm glad she's sticking around because I can't wait to see what else she can do.

| 7. Actually, without the train that dress wasn't horrid |
|
I'm looking forward to seeing what she will do, also.
I was impressed by most of the dresses. The losing one was indeed a loser.

Chris March, maybe? As someone else said, I won't get the names down for a few weeks. I really liked the colors in his dress.

I can't phathom how Santino made it to the final round. He should have lost at least twice and probably three times. He was so lucky.

|
...but I thought Sweet P also had to go last night. There are no words for that outfit. I made better stuff in my 7th-grade home ec class. I was kind of shocked, though, that Carmen went out so soon -- I thought she'd go pretty far.
I was glad to see a challenge that was exclusively menswear. It's really interesting to see how uncomfortable they get when they have to do something outside of the perfect model/perfect figure motif. I had no idea menswear was that daunting, but I recall similar complaints in Season 2 when they had to design for each other.

| 10. There were a whole lot of horror stories going down that runway |
|
but I must say those models were smoking hot. If it were a crime to be sexy those models would be lifers.

My older sister is a seamstress for a living and she used to tell me how hard it is to sew for men.

My screwy work schedule won't permit me to post immediately after every episode. Some Wednesdays I'm home before PR; some Wednesdays not. I may not see the Wednesday night episode until Thursday, or whenever Bravo repeats it.
I'll just keep an eye out and if I see no one's commented on an episode I'll cheerfully add my 2 cents.
(...written as I watch the Season 2 garden party challenge Saturday afternoon -- I STILL have a sweet spot for Daniel V. :) Ooh...this is ALSO the episode where Santino does his Tim impression...still hilarious!)
